Bug Description

Binary package hint: debian-installer

In expert install model, the package selection options to install the tasks 'openssh-server', 'mail-server', 'print-server', 'samba-server' each fail to find a task with the given name. The option 'Kubuntu desktop' is selected by default and the install succeeds as long as I don't choose to add another other package tasks.
This was with kubuntu-alternate-amd64.iso (daily from 2011-04-13)
I'm attaching screen shots of the virtual terminal error output.

This is handled by the CD build system.

The problem is that those tasks aren't deliberately or explicitly included, but they happen to be available. Perhaps debian-cd could work out which tasks are going to happen to be available and include Task headers for them ...

Changed in debian-installer (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
Changed in ubuntu-cdimage:
status: New → Triaged
importance: Undecided → Medium
