Bug Description

The ubuntu-10.04.1-src-1.iso file is only 6.5 MB (6,592,512 bytes). The ubuntu-10.04-src-1.iso is 2.5 GB. I mounted the 10.04.1 .iso using a loop device and when I try to access any of the files it gets an I/O error.

I checked the file on http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/10.04.1/release/source/ and on a mirror and they are both the same. Also since all of the checksums (MD5SUMS, SHA1SUMS, SHA256SUMS) match OK, I'm assuming the file was not created correctly.

This has happened before: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/234585 but that was on Xubuntu and Mythbuntu.

fix incomplete grab_md5 cherry-pick that broke source CD builds (LP: #647634)

... but retrospectively regenerating the 10.04.1 source images will take rather more work (and ingenuity).

10.04 reached EOL 3 years ago, 10.04.1 was superseded by 10.04.2 well before that, and this issue has not been escalated to the point where it has been actioned in that time. Closing wontfix.
