ubuntu-12.04.2-alternate-amd64.jigdo points to sources that not exist eg:

from ubuntu-12.04.2-alternate-amd64.jigdo

NtAHA8RYzTWCvw_4JYMp3A=Debian:pool/main/q/qt4-x11/libqt4-dbus_4.8.1-0ubuntu4.3_amd64.deb

in http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/q/qt4-x11/

libqt4-dbus_4.8.1-0ubuntu4.4_amd64.deb

so is not posible to build the image with jigdo.

Thats is only one file but there are others.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1157721/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

I'm afraid this is unfixable with our current infrastructure as we don't have a snapshot mirror to preserve jigdo-ability. However jigdo should get you to the point where rsync is a lot quicker, so it's still somewhat useful.

This is approximately the same as bug 713876, or at least part of it.

Oh, for what it's worth, jigdo for the precise daily builds should generally work, as those are updated frequently enough to keep up with the archive.
