Bug Description

Month view highlights a day with a red box, but it isn't the current day, nor any day that has any special feature.
Usually it's one or a couple of days late of the current day.
Occasionally Agenda view shows past events, so I guess Calendar does not get the day right. However the red line indicating current time is right in Day view (correct day and time), so it probably has to do with views rather than getting the right time at first.
Thanks,
TM

I agree this is quite confusing. I think what is happening is the following:
- The current day is highlighted in orange (not sure if color is dependant on color chosen for default calendar or not)
- if click on another day in month view, it highlight's with gray, then clicking it again will open that day
- seems the selection (gray highlighting) sticks around so whenever you come back to the month view you still have gray selection

This is confusing and I see no point to it.

I think it should behave as follows:
- current day should be highlighted
- clicking that day, or any other day, should simply open the day view. (currently you have to click twice, once to make gray and then another time to open)
- no highlighting should persist in the month view, except the current day should always be highlighted

should be mostly code deleting and simplification

No, at that time I really had the wrong day highlighted in red; but it
seems fixed right now.
By the way, I noticed selecting for instance May 3 from the April view
selected April 3 instead.
It's a minor problem (just need to go to the chosen month) but still a bit
surprising, so maybe it should be fixed if someone finds the time.

Yes that particular issue is know and now fixed. What version of calendar are you running?

Version 0.5.800
So maybe I might switch to testing instead of stable, and give more
up-to-date information? I'm willing to do that if it works well enough so I
can use the phone without too much hassle (I kind of depend on it, at least
for phone, agenda and email). Do you think that would be reasonable?

Thanks,
TM
