Bug Description

Long press somewhere in week view. This used to create a new event, but now *appears* to do absolutely nothing. Nowhere in the Calendar app will you find any evidence of a event existing at that time, even if you close/reopen the app.

But, in the indicator suddenly an "Untitled" event appears for that time. Given that this is not in the Calendar app, there is also no way to remove this event from the indicator.

How do you add indicator-datetime as an affected project correctly? The project doesn't track bugs directly, but through ubuntu/+source/indicator-datetime. How do you add this?

affects: indicator-datetime → indicator-datetime (Ubuntu)

Seems that I can change the target. But how do I set it correctly in the firstplace?

Yes, it seems if calendars are disabled then long press will create an event but it will not be visible, but does exist:-

If all calendars are disabled, we should probably disable the long-press-create.
If more than one calendar is listed, it should be possible to set the default for new events.

Changed in ubuntu-calendar-app:
status: New → Confirmed
assignee: nobody → Kunal Parmar (pkunal-parmar)
importance: Undecided → High
