Bug Description
When creating events by added them into the weekly/daily view - the timing (start and end date) is shifted for -2 hours, even tough it was not changed and was displayed correctly.
Shift happen when I push the save button.
Actual workaround:
Open event again, and change to correct start time. Pushing save here will now not change the time again.

It is indeed time zone related like you suspect.
Also, when you have a non-default (≠ +1 hour) end-time, it becomes even worse, because editing that often messes up the start time & vice versa, which means you get into a fight trying to get both right while they jump around...

Bug is still present, in Ubuntu 15.04(r3).
It is true that it is related to the local time, in my case GMT +2.

I am unsure about how I could test this locally, but I think it is related to following call, which might be missing: timeZoneUpdated()
According to following page, QT saves the date/time in UTC: http://

What is your time zone?
I found this as I was looking to see if a problem of a -1 hour shift on initial entry had been reported.
In my case the shift is -1 hour, I am on British Summer Time (GMT + 1 hour).
