Bug Description

All events in the month view are shown as a dark purple spot/dot. One of my calendars uses this xolour and I had assumed all along that there were no events upconing in my other calendars. Today, after OTA3.5, I changed the colours of my calendars to red, green and blue.

RESULT: Overview is still purple for month view.
EXPECTED RESULT: Colour should either match color of the calendar that has the most event hours for that day, or else do not use color as an indicator of events for that day (use bold text for the date instead, for example).

[UX Comment]
Font changes may prove too subtle.
Would recommend we keep the dot as it reads well/ jumps out when scanning the calendar, but remove the colour (i.e. a black spot/dot).

Maybe show a dot for every calendar that has an entry?
The problem with this is the limited space, i think there is space for ~6 dots max.

as per current implementation, we can only know if there exist event for particular day of month, but not for which all calendar those events belongs.

so may be we can change way we represent existence of event .

no longer affects: design (Ubuntu)

Some suggestions on representation:
Bold font for the date, or
Keep the dot, but make it hollow (outline only) so as not to imply a relationship to a particular calendar
Change the background colour of the cell for the date that has an event or events
Implement a 'rising tide' effect where a shaded or gradient level rises from the bottom of the cell and it's height is greater depending on the number of events/amount of time scheduled that day.

The bold option is probably the most obvious/acceptable.

"Keep the dot, but make it hollow (outline only) so as not to imply a relationship to a particular calendar" or "Bold font for the date" seems fine to me.

Will discuss with others and will implement as such
