Vivid: Current view not updated until view is changed

Bug Description

STEPS:
1. Open Calendar on phone
2. Create a daily test event on Google calendar in a web browser
3. Tap on menu sync
4. Check currently weekly view for said appointment
5. Move to the next week check for appointment

EXPECTED:
I expected the appointment to appear everywhere from today onward

ACTUAL:
The appointment appears in the following week if I leave the week view to monthly and then go back to the weekly view the appointment then appears from today

In my case this happens to recurring events only. Single events are displayed immediately. (Unicorn 14.10 r21 on BQ Aquaris)
