Bug Description

There is no delete function for calendars added.
After you add a calendar you can enable or disable it , but not delete it permanently

UX Comment:

Thanks for reporting.

Deletable items in the calendars list should be removable using the standard 'swipe right to reveal delete icon for list items' pattern used throughout the system.

This needs a bit of thought as there are two separate calendar lists effectively. One in system settings and one in the calendar app. Will ask design to come up with a solution.

Thinking some more on this. We should really remove any calendar automatically from the app which has been removed or set to no longer sync in system settings.

As far as I know, in system setting we only show online calendar not local calendar.

Also calendar retrieves calendar list from Qt Organizer through EDS.

In the calendar app, the green button you see in the image I attached, is used to add personal calendars (locally, not on the web). But there is no way to remove them once created. You can only remove the check and not see them, but not eliminate them.

we have fixed this partially. If you delete an account from System Settings -> Accounts that was listed in the Calendar app, it will now correctly delete it from the list as it's no longer available on the system.

There is no way currently to delete "Personal" or "Birthdays", only to disable them from displaying.

I just removed the access to one account for the calendar, but the calendars from that account still show up. So, I believe, also when revoking access for an account, the calendars should be removed from Ubuntu Calendar.
