Calendar events slow to appear or never appear on app startup

When the app starts it displays the view of the current week. On my calendar it can take as long as 20 secs for events to be displayed there. But it does seems that events in the past are being loaded before the current week. If possible loading the current view first would help a lot in usability and preception.

I am never seeing events load if I start the app and do not move the UI from the current week. When scrolling back several weeks the events start to populate.

No events are ever shown if I stay on this week
Scroll back three weeks, I see events are loaded there
Scroll back to this week, events are shown

It looks like this became more prominent when we switched to week view by default.
If you switch views (to agenda view for example) the events load.
Looks like there's some event not triggering on the initial load of the week view.

Yes, Alan is right, this started happening after making week view default. There was similar issue with month view as well. Model was not able to load events on startup, so we were required to load model delayed on timer.

We need to do same with WeekView as well, My following branch does the same.
