It'd be great if the calendar app could use the account information for Facebook and import upcoming events and birthdays.

just adding note to self, we can use following API

https://api.facebook.com/method/fql.query?query=select uid,name,birthday_date from user where uid in ( select uid2 from friend where uid1 = SELF_FACEBOOK_UID)&format=json&access_token=
