A quick fix for the documentation file is deleting the obviously non-existent image and removing the second, longer equation (I need to investigate what's wrong with that ... :)

Hello Uwe,

so I was making my mind up how to handle the Export better... And I think it would be cool to have a second window that pops up a soon as the export is done and either shows the build error, or gives an option to

    a) open the file
    b) open the containing folder
    c) just press okay (selected by default, so only one hit on »return« is necessary

I hope to get these changes in the next release,

Regards

    Wolf

Dear all,

i see this bug should be more or less solve nowadays, but it doesn't. I love Uberwriter but the lack of pdf export is a problem.

I am working under Linux Mint Cinnamon.
I've installed :
pandoc
textlive-binaries
textlive-font-recommanded
textlive-latex-extra
textlive-latex-base
textlive-latex-recommanded
luatex
texlive-base
textlive-luatex

And still, the pdf export doesn't work. As well as the advanced export. Only .html and .odt works.

Thank you in advance !

P.

Dear Uwe

I've retry pdf export today by reinstalling Uberwriter via apt. It doesn't work either, even though all dependencies are installed :(

Hi Pierrot,

sorry for the late reply and bad news: I am currently struggling to give UberWriter the attention it deserves.

However, PDF export should work for error free documents.

The best option otherwise is use the command line and pandoc directly (http://pandoc.org/)

Best,

Wolf
