bit.ly url shortener not working

Bug Description
The api call for bit.ly is working fine and returns the url in json.
the problem is its buried in a tree and i dont know how to extract just the shortened url.
should be fairly simple if you know how.
the code in question is in twitkit.js and under the function 'compress_url:'
