Can you provide a version for Fedora 16?

I don't know Fedora. I suggest you to create a Blueprint for it, and promote it in order to find a packager.

(Otherwise if really nobody subscribe to your blueprint, and if I have time, I will have a look to how to package it for Fedora.)

Unfortunatelly, I am not able to help you more with that. I don't know anything about creating a blueprint...
I just wanted to use tuxtremsplit on Fedora as it is a great software.

I heard about a project helping developper to realease code on multiple platforms:
