Bug Description
current cairo widget implementation (textbubble) currently has a basic gtk.gdk.window creation. Most of the code in the realize() method was copied from an example and could be cleaned up of unnecessary parts. As the Window creation is necessary to attach the widget outside the overlayer (like on a button; see overlayertests.py), the fixer should ensure that functionality is kept both as an ordinary widget and as drawn on the overlay.

This seems most appropriate if we want to be able to handle events on the overlay. The use case was to be able to add a message bubble which we could hide or trigger the next message by clicking.
