Bug Description
On several computers I have found that WebShell when run on Firefox will not accept dashes "-" in the commad line.
Webmin is Fine and Chrome is fine in WebShell and Webmin.
Does not seem to matter which version of FireFox (v 12 and forward). I do recall it working in the past though so something may ave changed.

I have discovered that this is a known bug in shellinabox (ie WebShell) see the bug here: http:// code.google. com/p/shellinab ox/issues/ detail? id=202& can=1&q= firefox% 20-
There has been a fair bit of discussion on the bug thread and a number of patches posted, but it seems that the upstream software still includes the bug. Someone has created a fork on GitHub (see here: https:/ /github. com/pythonanywh ere/shellinabox _fork/commits/ master) and from a quick, unqualified glance the patch that looks best is this one: http:// code.google. com/p/shellinab ox/issues/ attachmentText? id=202& aid=2020023000& name=0001- add-new- keyCodes- used-by- FF15.patch& token=pMKwekJKM wqxk0LdQb_ v3koRJA4% 3A1359116862637
