Bug Description
Please backport postgrey 1.36-5 (universe) from cosmic to trusty, xenial.
Reason for the backport:
=======
The newer Postgrey has updated default whitelists, process name changes, user-settable
socket permissions, and improved support for IPv4 and IPv6 CIDR ranges.
These additional features also come with a number of fixes in the Debian package itself, all of which are useful to include as well.
Testing:
========
Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the checklist so that backporters can quickly evaluate the state of testing.
You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s cosmic -d trusty postgrey
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s cosmic -d xenial postgrey
Backports were done with the Cosmic package which is identical to Bionic's package version in:
https:/
Installation tests and runtime tests were completed in a live production Trusty server and within a Xenial LXD container.
