Bug Description
This came out of a conversation at the summit (Tokyo) at the contributor meetup.
Trove configuration parameters that should be datastore specific are in some cases global.
Some deprecated options need to be obsoleted.
This bug is to track the work item(s) that will result from this exercise.
Individual bugs will be added for specific activities.
