Bug Description
This RFE is a result of testing / iterating on the CI squad's 12th sprint:

If the libvirt reproducer is run (in it's present state) as root, it will fail. This was hit by multiple people on the sprint team during sprint 12. This RFE captures any of the following:
1. resolve the issue such that running as root is possible
2. prevent running as root if #1 is not possible
3. minimally warn the user with a message that this will fail
