Bug Description
Booting freezes on "Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel. ".
To reproduce:
On Acer Travelmate 3004WTMi (Intel Centrino), with Dapper Flight 6 i386 Install CD-ROM
1) Boot from CD
2) Choose "Install to hard disk"
What happens:
The text "Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel. " is printed on the screen. After that, complete freeze: Caps lock does not change
lights, alt-ctrl-del does nothing, a quick click on power
button does nothing. Must shut down computer by pressing
power button for 10 s.
What should happen:
Computer should boot normally.
To bypass:
1) Booted from CD
2) Move cursor to "Install to hard disk"
3) "F6 Other Options": added "noapic"
What happens:
Computer booted past the "booting the kernel. "
(3004WTMi also needs "irqpool" option to use network and DVD-drive).

Please be sure you are booting something with the latest 2.6.15-20 kernel. Latest daily ISO (live and install) should work.
