Bug Description
The most recent version of tree is 2.0.4, but the version included in the snap is 1.8.0. Ubuntu 22.04 includes version 2.0.2, which seems like a good minimum target.

Hello, apologies for the ignorance, and thanks for the heads-up.
I've published the current latest version(2.1.3) to the candidate channel(currently only for amd64/ppc64el/s390x architectures as Launchpad's ARM builders are currently stalled by the backlog). You may try it out by running the following commands in a terminal:
```
# If you haven't installed it yet
snap install --channel=candidate tree
# If it is already installed
snap refresh --channel=candidate tree
# If you have another installation that has priority
snap run tree
```
I'll promote the build to the stable channel within a week if there are no serious issues found.
