Bug Description

It would be a nice feature to be able to choose how many seconds the player "jumps back" after pressing pause. Although the 2 seconds are a good default value.

Thanks for the report.

This depends on the implementation of a configuration backend and dialog. This is already on the agenda, but not with top priority. There are several config backends that might be possible:

* custom ini file
* gconf
* GSettings/dconf
* DesktopCouch

Quickly suggests DesktopCouch, which I find not very convincing. gconf is deprecated, a custom ini file would be a possibility, but also not very elegant. GSettings seems to be the future way, and will also provide widgets to quickly create config dialogs, but depends on GTK3 and is not widely available.

Therefor, I decided to wait with the configuration dialog until the GTK3 migration becomes relevant and GSettings is an option.
