wrong resolution with external monitor plugged

Bug Description
Please see the attached screen capture.
1. right side: Monitor: resolution is 1920x1200. you can see the full UNR launcher
2. left side: Netbook: resolution is 1024x600. You only see the top left side of the launcher.
Also, the response time becomes very very long when connect to external monitor.
