second fan is not controllable (X61, under right palm rest)

Bug Description

this isn't actually a bug but a wish: will there be any possibilty to control the second fan soon as there isn't any in /proc/acpi/ibm?

Can you please send me the output of the commands:
$ ls -la /proc/acpi/ibm/
$ cat /proc/acpi/ibm/fan
$ cat /proc/acpi/ibm/thermal

Ok, this is on a X61s:
(The second fan is installed and running quietly as normal -- still, the palmrest is _much_ hotter than under WindowsXP)

It appears that the second fan is currently not supported by the kernel driver.

If you want support for the second fan please file a bug against the thinkpad_acpi module: http://ibm-acpi.sourceforge.net/

At the moment tp-fan cannot do anything about it.
