problems with touchpad and USB

I have a asus notebook X450L Series, and does not recognize or mouse or flash drive in 3 USB sockets. Have updated the ubuntu 14:04 to 14:10 and 15:04 to now and still not recognizing anything in this USB. The touchpad still works when the notebook is turned on but, when returning from suspension, is locked and tendon that always restart in order to work.
