I have the same problem because on xinput list, this is the output:

I know for a fact that the correct touchpad to be disabled should be DLL0655:00 06CB:2985, however SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad is taken instead and has no effect. Is there a way to "uninstall" SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad and one of Logitech USB Receiver? If not, please add a dropdown on Touchpad Indicator for the user to select the actual touchpad to be disabled/enabled.
