Comment 4 for bug 1255973

I've the same problem with ubuntu 14.04 as solarisfire and Chris.
When I unplug my mouse the touchpad indicator still keeps on showing that touchpad is disabled, while in reality the touchpad has been enabled and works just fine.
Also when I unplug my mouse I don't see the message that is supposed to popup when the touchpad is re-enabled.
When I plug in my mouse the popup message is shown as it should be (saying my touchpad is being disabled).
