Bug Description

Mako with MultiROM, utopic r235

There ar, a few bluetooth devices that still don't work together with Ubuntu Touch. These devices work perfectly well when booting the phone as Android. The devices that fails to connect for me are BlueAnt Supertooth 3 (http://www.myblueant.com/shop/us/products/st3.php#related) and My Volvo car bluetooth system, both with Bluetooth version 2.0 specifications.

With BlueAnt Ubuntu can discover the unit and attempts to connect, opening a pairing dialogue with the digits "0000". Confirming the pin code (which is correct) doesn't do anything, my Ubuntu phone is not recognized by BlueAnt and won't show as a connected device in the phone's bluetooth settings, but shows up under "Connect other device followed by ..." The bluetooth indicator, however, shows as connected.

With My Volvo Car, pairing works differently. The bluetooth system in the car searches for devices and shows "Nexus 4" and then prompts me to connect with a 4-digit pin code, but the Ubuntu phone doesn't react at all and after a while the car system says that it failed to connect.

Oh, adding to that, the indicator remains "lit" even after turning BlueAnt off and toggling Bluetooth off/on in the phone settings.

1a - On OS build #6 (Channel: ubuntu-touch/ubuntu-rtm/14.09), I enable Bluetooth as "Discoverable" while I launch "Bluetooth New Device Setup" on Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit desktop which reveals Device "Nexus 4" as Type "Computer".
1b - I select "Nexus 4" on desktop and click "Continue."
1c - Desktop shows, "Please enter the following PIN on "Nexus 4":"
1d - Ubuntu Phone may, or may not, list "Ubuntu-0" under "Connected devices:"
1e - No PIN entry shows up on Ubuntu Phone and desktop reports, "Setting up "Nexus 4" failed.

2a - On OS build #6 (Channel: ubuntu-touch/ubuntu-rtm/14.09), I enable Bluetooth as "Discoverable" and can successfully connect to an iPhone.

I had the problem that connecting to my car's radio was impossible with the default 0000 Key thats in my JVC KD Car Radio with Bluetooth Adapter.
I changed the connecting Code manually to 1111 in the Radio and it connected seamlessly and did it's key exchange.

Is there already something in the development branches for this problem?

I'm on the stable branch with a Nexus 4 and Release 14.10 (17) right now.
