Sound indicator takes a while to load, not displaying the content sometimes

Steps to reproduce:
- Boot the phone/tablet
- Scroll down the sound indicator

Expected result:
- Both the 'Mute' and 'Volume' entries should be displayed at the time the user opens the indicator

Actual result:
- The string 'Empty' shows up during the first second, and sometimes it stays there without loading the proper indicator properties

Also verified that pulseaudio and alsamixer is always working, even when there's nothing in the sound indicator.

This is far more often on flipped. I think I saw it only loaded once. I can change the volume just fine with alsamixer or with the volume buttons btw

Not valid anymore as we moved to a different indicator, which is always working out-of-the-box.
