Panel Settings Apps Battery, Volume and Network are Unavailable

Battery Applet and Volume Control don't appear when attempt made to add them; screen flashes but nothing changes.

Hi Jack, I will work on a fix for this.
I will cause the app to run and disown the process for these.

I was about to change not only the title but also the Bug Description as well. However, I guess I'd better first add this comment.

After installing the latest build of ToriOS 0.4.0, the neither the battery, volume nor the network applets are there.

I thought there is no internet too but when I opened the browser and checked some website, it worked.

Should I report a new bug or no need for that?! after all, there is nothing showing - see attached.

I am rebuilding the base OS to include volumeicon-alsa.
This will provide the volume controls we need.

The default is to include the Network indicator ONLY.
Should I by default enable volume and battery?

Hi, as of my most recent commit to sdesk the battery indicator should work. I will test this to be sure.
