Bug Description

On Keyboard Settings menu I see only keyboard shortcuts options. I don't see any option to add languages.

Also, there is no way to switch to different keyboard layouts.

Hi,
Unfortunately, at this point, the Keyboard program that is included is ONLY to set the keyboard shortcuts.
There has been no consensus about which program to use to switch languages, and layouts. So there is no included program to do this (yet).
Sorry for the inconvenience of this.
You can install language-selector-gnome to download your favourite language.

I installed it and downloaded the language, but I don't find how to change layout.

Please note that setxkbmap is able to set the keyboard layout. It is not persistent however (every time the computer boots, the keyboard layout setting is lost).

@israeldahl

I'm on this for testing but for fixing, I am not sure my technical skills are good enough for that task :(
If the assigned to means "testing", for sure, I am on it :)

If we both can work on this (like what we did with the menu thing), I am IN for sure :)

Just figure out what program to use. install it, and test it. Then we will include it!
If it doesn't work then, maybe search for reasons why it doesn't work, and if you get really stuck contact me via e-mail
