Bug Description

Hello, I am trying to get into Toontown Infinite but it won't even let me login! All it does after I click that big "PLAY" button ( Note that I DID insert my username and password, ) is open a small black window, and the first piece of text that it says is: "Warining: unable to auto-locate config files in directory named by '<auto>etc'-". Then, everything goes normal untill the game tries to start, but instead of starting, absolutely NOTHING happens! Can you please tell me what is happening?

check for a minimized window. I get the same DOS window, then another DOS window opens with code running. The TT screen opens, on my PC, in a smaller window, not maximized. I have to expand it manually. it may be opening minimized on your PC. (hold the alt key down and tap the tab key to see all open windows. Tapping the tab key allows you to switch between windows when you release the alt key.)

I also get the the 2 DOS screens after signing in on Launcher. When the second one pops up it shows an error message "DLL Load failure :1073741795. This is on a Windows 7 os. The second computer with Windows XP service pack 2 get a Runtime Error. the Error Signature shows: App Name: launcher. exe AppVer: 0.0.0 ModName: hccutils.dll Mod Ver: 6.14.10.4814 Offset: 0000bb49. Pretty sure this info is helpful. Any ideas?

3rd Computer, My sons with Windows 7 has been working fine.

That sounds like PC problems. On the problematic Win 7 machine, open control panel, Windows Updates, View Update History and see if you're failing any updates. If not, back up to the Windows Updates and check for updates. Wished I knew which DLL failed. If it were a DLL from TTI... maybe try re-installing TTI on the device if you're not failing updates.

I forget all I knew about XP... but that def sounds like an update issue there... Service Pack 2 sounds as though it's corrupted.
