Choose a task menu remains on screen after picking task

I was in the street HQ on Barnacle Boulevard in DD when I turned in one of my toontasks. Naturally, I stepped back, and then reapproached the officer to get a new task. The pick a task menu appeared as normal, and when I clicked on the task I wanted it triggered the dialogue related to the task. However, that pick a task menu did not disappear from the screen. I did pretty much everything to remove it to no avail. I left the HQ, walked back through the tunnel to Punchline Place, and then teleported back to TTC. I also tried opening and closing my book to remove the menu. Finally, I logged out of my toon, and the menu remained on the pick-a-toon screen. I then completely restarted the client, and the menu disappeared.
