Can't Copy and paste from tomboy to message body

Binary package hint: thunderbird

I am not sure if this is a tomboy, clipboard or thunderbird bug, so I'll report here and hopefully we can find it :)

Write something in tomboy, copy the text, paste it in a new message body, it does not work.
Paste the same text in the title, it works!
Paste the same text in another program (text editor), it works

I'll add a screen shot.

If you use Gmail, can you start a new message in rich text mode in FIrefox, and see if you can paste from Tomboy into the rich text mail composer? Thanks!

I tried what you wrote, and I have the same issue with gmail. Interesting. Then, it would be a clipboard bug?

It appears to be a bug when apps try to get rich text from what Tomboy puts on the clipboard. We only recently added support for rich copy/paste, so it is probably a bug with how we are doing it, although it could also be something in gtk-sharp or gtk+ in Maverick.

Anyway, it's almost definitely a Tomboy bug, so I'm changing it over. Thanks for testing.

I have the same problem when pasting into thunderbird.
If I "paste without format" in thunderbird then it works fine.
