Bug Description

Alphanumeric bullet is no problem in Tomboy on Ubuntu 10.10.
However, attempts to enter the Japanese bullet, and press Enter to accept Japanese characters, Tomboy behavior when the character believes to be empty.

[How To Reproduce]
1. Launch Tomboy from "Application" -> "Accessories" -> "Tomboy" in working iBus.
2. Click on tomboy icon in upper panel.
3. Select "Create New Note" and click it.
4. Write "- ". (The line is not the title)
5. Turn on iBus-mozc or iBus-Anthy. (Ex. Press Full/Half key in JP keyboard)
6. Write content bullet in Japanese.
7. Press ENTER key.

[Actual Result]
1. Japanese string remains uncertain, "- " will become mark the bullet.
2. Press the ENTER key addition, the bullet marks disappear, no longer in a bulleted list. Japanese characters are still undetermined.
3. Press the ENTER key addition, the Japanese text will be confirmed. However, it bullet marks have disappeared already, take the bullet.

[Expected Result]
"- " has converted to bullet mark. And bullet line in Japanese is converted.

Tomboy is not well aware of the ambiguous character, seems to not be recognized as text input.
There is no problem in Tomboy on Ubuntu 10.04 or prior.

I have already tried to introduce PPA for Stable Tomboy Releases (https://launchpad.net/~tomboy-packagers/+archive/stable) and Development Tomboy Releases (https://launchpad.net/~tomboy-packagers/+archive/development), the problem could not be resolved.

Whether this is a matter of iBus, Tomboy know what the problem is. However, I posted here because there is no problem in other applications.

Thanks.

Probably caused by either 42706d3c21f180741a097a19b72c18569108694b or 18e60728d42dadd21d7c64afe0b2525153c01c23 . Not sure what we'll be able to do to fix.

This should be filed in upstream Tomboy for tracking purposes.
