The maverick packages of toggldesktop are not present in the toggldesktop PPA:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/official-toggl/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/t/toggl-desktop/

Spoke with Toggl on Twitter, a new client *should* be out this month, complete rewrite.
