Bug Description

NEW DESCRIPTION:

Some users want to be able to disable location (to save battery) and they want to be able to manually set their location. This would allow them to have operational scopes that require a location.

OLD DESCRIPTION:

I am connected to Internet but I get always “no information” next to the sunrise and the sunset.
The line with information about the moon isn't visible.

I have a BQ Aquaris E4.5 with OTA 13 in Italian.
This problem affects me from some updates.

Hi Mike,

This is what happens when Location data is disabled.

Please check your Today scope settings and verify that Location data is enabled.

Thanks, I'll try it, but when I switch on the location, it takes lots of
time to get the data... Is there a way to set manually the location for
this scope in order to view that informations?
And some system upadets ago I could see the sunrise, sunset time and the
information about the moon without the location data enabled...

Hi Mike,

So I assume it worked.

Once the location is obtained, it should not be slow (beyond what you would normally expect based on your internet connection speed and the response time of the internet servers being queired.)

No, there is no way to manually set location data that's appropriate for devices in the field.

I haven't tried yet, but I keep the location data always off to save the
battery, so this option is unusefull for me...

Is adding the feature to set manually the location possible in the
future? I have the same location problem with the weather in the today
scope (it shows me the weather in another city...)
