Today scope, cut smaller date icon with OTA10

Hi I an using the MX4 with OTA-10 installed. The date icon is sometimes cut smaller on the top edge. Refresh buy pulling down doesn’t clear the problem, you have to remove the "Day info" in setting, refresh then add it again. My feeling is this may happen with a poor or slow wifi connection (our internet is very slow).

Note, I have also seen the same problem on other scopes with OTA-10, see picture attached showing the BBC scope cut at the top.
In this case I had to restart the phone. The softpedia scope also sometimes does something similar showing no or just a few icons, reset required to clear.

Same problem encountered on BQ 4.5 (on previous OTAs 9 and 9.1) on different scopes. To me it seems that the problem appears when the user doesn't let the scope fully reload (such as after a manual swipe down gesture) and changes the scope by swiping left/right during loading of content. But it is not easily reproducible as it happens only seldomly. I solved the issue by closing (unclicking the star symbol on top) and reopening the scope itself from 'Manage' scopes menu.

Michal's report supports the idea that this is not related to an individual scope but is related to unity8, so I am adding this task to the bug.

Most probably same issue as bug #1546733 and bug #1546472

Unfortunately, we've never been able to reproduce the issue reliably so working on a fix is very hard.
