Bug Description

New Description:
Today scope blank when no network connection.

Old description:

version 1.8.5: hints does not show when there is no network connection.

Expected: hint should show when no network connection and at the top should be a No Network help message.

This is probably not the correct fix. Instead of displaying hints with no network message, today should display normal stuff as best as it can because some of the data (like tasks, events, contacts, etc) is available with no network....

The problem is with the holidays scope. When there is no network, it does not know its location. Without location (country data) it fails. I have a fix.

The same problem exists with the day scope, for which I have a fix. see bug 1472700

The day scope is fixed with version 0.1.10.

So with the new Day scope and Holidays scope, the Today scope no longer shows blank page on no network/no location
