Bug Description
upon launching TimeShift, the program seems to hang forever, with CPU usage at around 14% on my kubuntu 14.04/amd64 box.
Attempting to launch it from the command line, several times, I always receive an endless list of repeating errors:
$ sudo timeshift
[16:43:06] Session log file: /var/log/
[16:43:06] Distribution: Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty)
[16:43:06] Warning: Deleted invalid lock
[16:43:06] / is mapped to device: /dev/md127p1, UUID=dca7b4d5-
[16:43:06] Errore: Failed to mount device '/dev/disk/
[16:43:06] Errore: mount: /dev/md127p1 già montato o /mnt/timeshift/
mount: secondo mtab, /dev/md127p1 è già montato su /mnt/timeshift/
...
(above rows repeat... forever :)
...
Note that /dev/md127p1 is an mdadm array (RAID0)
It seems timeshift is attempting to mount the device but couldn't succeed.
This system was cloned via rsync from a "regular" one (without md devices), where I'm successfully using TimeShift - the only difference being in the mdadm root device.
Please check if this occurs in latest release (v17.1) and open a new bug report if not fixed.
