"backup device" option disabled

Despite the fact that I followed exaxctly the installation instructions, TimeShift when launched doesn't allow to set "Backup device". The option remains disabled.Also I can include some information from the terminal:
user@computer:~$ sudo timeshift

[00:16:34] Distribution: Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty)
