After having successfully added ppa:
> sudo apt-get install timeshift
Lecture des listes de paquets... Fait
Construction de l'arbre des dépendances
Lecture des informations d'état... Fait
E: Impossible de trouver le paquet timeshift

What distribution are you using?
PPA can be used only on Ubuntu 12.04, 14.04, 14.10 and other Linux distributions based on these.
