Is RetryingCall retrying things that don't fail?

We have log lines that look like this:

2011-07-11 01:37:27+0100 [HTTPPageGetter,client] Retrying call getPage(('http://api.twitter.com/1/users/show.json?user_id=18942746',) {}): status=OK elapsed=1.154

Why does RetryingCall retry something that didn't fail? Or does it?
Could this be related to the change to the new Twitter API endpoint?
