Bug Description
Binary package hint: thoggen
It would be nice if Thoggen would be able to read and encode .vob and .iso files that are located on a remote directory (ie. mounted with GVFS). Currently, the file chooser dialog that opens when pressing Ctrl+o doesn't display GVFS remote shares at all.

Not sure how likely it is that this gets implemented any time soon, since it's libdvdread that handles the .iso file reading/parsing and the VIDEO_TS folder reading/parsing, and libdvdread doesn't know about gvfs etc. just plain old file/directory semantics.
