Right now, this isn't a critical problem, but in the future, it will. You can't make the year go any higher than 1999.

Look at the overview page for textfileBB.

I'm sorry to tell you that textfileBB was discontinued by me by in October of last year. That's why the project is open source and here on launchpad now. Currently yes, we're only in security fix mode up to feb/march of 08.

Unfortunately we have had no devs on the 'team' who would fix this bug. When we posted in the forums before they were closed off my site interested in working or continuing the project in the open source state. Those who were interested tried to get me to grant them exclusive rights to textfileBB, otherwise they didn't want to bother take up the project either if it was open source, and I was against that.

That's why the bug has been marked as such.

Sad to see the project go. I'd love to take it over, but I'm busy working on my own CMS package. :(

If you're ever not busy, I know you were one who contributed a lot of mods to tfBB, I think you'd do a goob job continuing it
