Bug Description

I am using a collate script to do post-processing on one of the files in my test case. If I run the test on a machine where this collate script tool is not installed, the dynamic GUI reports the processed file as missing, and the test fails. (the particular tool in question is 'pdftotext' and I use it to convert a pdf file produced by my test into a text file I can diff easily). I spent some time poking around trying to work out why the file was not being created. Finally I closed the dynamic GUI window, and then I suddenly got a dialog up that said the collate script program is missing.

This is pretty unhelpful, I expect to see this error message in the dynamic GUI, presented with the test results. It is totally unintuitive to have to actually close the dynamic GUI window in order to see it. By then I have wasted quite a bit of time trying to work out what's going on, when the error message tells me immediately.
