renaming tests not working properly

Bug Description
I'm on a mac, with a project that uses git. I'm using the latest code from launchpad. When I rename tests, it looks ok in the GUI, but on disk the folder name is not changed.
eg I have a test "foo" which I copy to "foo_copy" then I rename to "foo_bar". The test in the GUI says "foo_bar" and it says "foo_bar" in the testsuite file. On disk I have a folder named "foo_copy" still.

I can't reproduce this. The above case works just fine for me.
A possible difference is that we have developed and tested this using git 1.7, but I can't see any obvious output format changes on git 1.8 that could trip things up.
