Bug Description

Wish list again to the sexy editor I'm in love with;P

Keyboard shortcuts shouldn't be in the middle of the qwerty keyboard. It makes them slow to use.

Example, I'm not able to duplicate a line(Ctrl+j) or search the next occurrence(Ctrl+g) just by using the left hand. I have to move my finger to the furtherest part of the right half in the keyboard to do this. On the other hand, searching (ctrl+f) and deleting a line (ctrl+d) can be easily done with just one hand, speeding up the operation and making it more comfortable to do.

I give more importance to finding the next occurrence, which is really bummer to do :\

So I've noticed that ctrl+g to find the next occurrence is kind of a standard, also present in firefox.. That's why you've chosen that, then..

Well, since it's standard, maybe there's no reason to change it, then.. It's me who have to adapt to it.

Yes, ctrl+g is a default gnome shortcut for next occurrence.

You're right when you said that ctrl+d is faster than ctrl+j shortcut, but TextFlow has a lot of shortcut and is hard to find a good shortcut.

A lot of shortcuts isn't a good thing, it's hard to new users remember all of them. Because this I'm making plans to reduce TF shortcuts and make them more "smart" and intuitive to users.

Sure, but new users don't even use them at all. More experienced users surelly miss them.

As for me, I think these are vital: search, next and previous on search, delete line, goto line, copy, cut, paste and select all (ctrl+a).

Since we're having an goto line(hope it's ctrl+l), I guess that textflow is really in the good direction :D

PS.: Good job with the, I've spent the week in c and openGL, and it has been opened since;P

By intuition I've just remembered that I use F3 to go to the next occurrence on a search. Also works on firefox et al.

Please? 0:)
