Bug Description
gather_details gathers into a object with getDetails; however all it really needs is two dicts. This would make it more usable in python-fixtures where a fixture wants to be able to show a view on all its child fixtures, gather_details wanting to write into a fixture or equivalent means we need a temporary fixture like thing on each call into getDetails.
