Pressing CapsLock configured as layout switch key closes terra

Bug Description
I'm using Ubuntu 13.10 and configured CapsLock key to switch layouts but when I press it in the Terra it switches layout and closes Terra window and I have to re-open it to keep typing whatever I typed there. The same happens when I pressing Shift+CapsLock which I configured to switch back to previous layout. I'm using F1 to open/close Terra terminal.
Expected behavior: Terra terminal remains on screen when CapsLock configured as layout switch key are pressed in Terra window to switch layout.
This does not happen if I press Ctrl+CapsLock or if CapsLock is not configured to switch keyboard layout.
